What is SAMO?
SAMO is a metadata-driven low-code platform designed for building information systems that manage object data and support the full lifecycle of creating, collecting, evaluating, distributing, and/or sharing this data—including integrations with external information systems. The SAMO platform delivers a high degree of configurability through parameters, metadata, and templates.
The system allows organizations to tailor workflows, define custom data records and document types, and create user-defined extensions—all without programming or extensive redesign of the system’s architecture or control structure. This enables rapid and efficient development or modification of any business logic across supported processes.
To support these capabilities, the platform includes modules for process configuration, notifications, a document repository, geographic information system (GIS) features, an authorization registry, reporting and analytics, OpenData publishing, and an integration layer equipped with tools for connecting enterprise-grade solutions using specialized application components. The solution’s architecture also incorporates a standardized API, significantly enhancing the platform’s overall flexibility.
Core Capabilities
-
Information solutions built on the SAMO platform are open and accessible systems fully driven by metadata.
-
The platform enables complete control over the data model, allowing organizations to create or adapt it according to their needs.
-
SAMO’s process-oriented design focuses on delivering value to end users rather than maximizing the number of available functions. Workflows can be continuously updated to reflect business logic executed on both the server and client sides.
-
The platform offers a modern, intuitive user interface with responsive design, meeting UX/UI ergonomic standards across desktop, web, and mobile devices.
-
SAMO provides tools for history tracking, auditing, and logging, and includes an integration interface for seamless communication with other systems.
-
The platform supports solutions that require offline operation.
-
Rapid client application development is enabled through modular templates and platform components—such as lists, detail views, forms, wizards, and map windows—that can be combined into comprehensive application modules.
-
SAMO is easy to manage and administer through dedicated applications for system configuration, user management, and maintenance of code lists.
-
As a platform at the beginning of its lifecycle, SAMO ensures long-term viability and optimal cost efficiency for building and operating solutions, without forced upgrades.
-
Using and evolving the SAMO platform does not require purchasing proprietary software from other vendors.
